I enjoy watching our native birds, especially Cockatoos as they are such characters. This one was perched on a branch of a Grevillea hybrid.

Brush Turkey On The Run
Common Names: Australian Brushturkey, Australian Brush-turkey, Bush Turkey, Scrub Turkey
Species: Alectura lathami
Family: MEGAPODIIDAE
Another pesky brush turkey, this one was on the run past the car-park at the Mt. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens in Brisbane, Australia.

Litoria fallax Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog
Common Names: Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog, Green Reed Frog, Eastern Sedge Frog
Species: Litoria fallax
Family: HYLIDAE
The brown form of the Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog (i think) resting on some water reeds. This tiny frog was was only a few centimetre long and very cute. This is one of the more common species of frog found around Brisbane, Austraia.
